Q: What would you do if you were to come across an inappropriate post made by one of your students outside the school? A: When I have either seen or had inappropriate posts by students reported to me, I have always discussed them with my administrator(s) to determine next actions.

I love your thoughts about this topic. I agree that it can be a great tool if used correctly to communicate with parents and the community around us. As long as we are following the school/districts guidelines and keeping it professional online, social media can be a great tool rather than a scary thing to put out into the world.

I have never thought of social media as a medium that I help spark my ideas and thoughts after. In fact I think I use it more than I knew Thank you for sharing your perspective so I have another lens.
